Eligibility for Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Chamoli

  2. Candidates must be studying in Class 5 in a government-recognized school or NIOS 'B' Certificate Competency Course in the same district where the JNV is located.
  3. Candidates must have been promoted to and admitted to Class 5 on or before July 31, 2025, to be eligible for JNVST 2026.
  4. Rural Quota: For admission under the rural quota, candidates must have studied and passed Classes 3, 4, and 5 in a government-recognized school located in a rural area.

  6. Applicants must have passed the Class 8 exam from a recognized board.
  7. Students must reside and be studying in the same district where the JNV is located and admission is sought.
